Home Renovations, Thoughtfully Designed.
Love where you live? Before you move, rethink the home you’re already in. Your home may be in exactly the right place, even if it no longer works quite right for you. From rethinking dated layouts to renovating kitchens and baths and creating cohesive interiors throughout the home, we help clients transform the homes they already love.
Transform Your Home While Keeping Everything You Love About It.
A successful renovation is about more than creating a beautiful space. It’s an opportunity to rethink how your home functions, improve the way rooms connect, and create spaces that better reflect the way you live today.
At Elements Interior Design Studio, we guide our clients through the many decisions that come with renovating a home. From space planning and material selections to custom cabinetry, lighting, furnishings, and the finishing details, we consider the entire home so that every choice feels intentional and connected.
Whole Home Renovations
Sometimes one project leads to another. A new kitchen affects the adjoining family room. Opening a wall changes the dining space. New flooring creates an opportunity to reconsider finishes throughout the first floor.
Looking at the home as a whole allows us to create a cohesive design and thoughtfully address layout, materials, lighting, furnishings, color, and architectural details from the beginning.
The result is a home that feels collected and personal rather than a series of individually renovated rooms.
Kitchen Renovations
The kitchen is one of the hardest-working spaces in a home, which makes function just as important as aesthetics.
We consider how you cook, gather, entertain, and move through the space to help determine the right layout, cabinetry, lighting, surfaces, fixtures, finishes, and furnishings.
Our goal is to create a kitchen that works beautifully for everyday life while feeling connected to the rest of your home.
Bathroom Renovations
A well-designed bathroom balances function, comfort, and beauty.
From primary suites to powder rooms, we help our clients navigate the many decisions involved in a bathroom renovation, including layout, cabinetry, tile, stone, plumbing fixtures, lighting, hardware, color, and finishing details.
The result is a space that feels considered, cohesive, and distinctly yours.
Design from the Beginning
Some of the most important design decisions happen long before construction begins.
The most successful renovations begin with thoughtful planning. Bringing a designer into the process early allows us to consider not only how your home will look, but how it will function, from space planning and storage to lighting, electrical placement, cabinetry, and the details that make everyday life easier.
We believe beautiful design should also be smart design. We’ve included smart design features such as a pop-up outlet in the island, a utility cabinet for vacuums, brooms, etc., and a utensil drawer to keep essential items out of sight, but within reach.
We collaborate with architects, contractors, trades, and vendors throughout the renovation process, helping to carry the design vision from the earliest decisions through the finishing details.
From Renovation to Finished Home
Our work doesn’t end when construction does.
Furniture, rugs, window treatments, lighting, artwork, and accessories are what transform a newly renovated space into a home.
Because Elements offers both renovation design and full-service interior design, we can carry the vision from the earliest planning stages through final installation and styling.
One team. One cohesive vision. From concept to completion.
Thinking About Renovating?
You may know that your home isn't working quite right without knowing exactly what needs to change.
That's where we begin.
During our Discovery process, we'll learn about your home, how you live, what's working, what isn't, and what you'd like your home to become. From there, we can help identify opportunities and determine the right path forward.
Based in Westfield, New Jersey, we work on home renovations throughout Westfield and surrounding communities, as well as select projects throughout New Jersey and the greater New York area.
